Terms of Service
1. Overview
These Terms of Service govern your use of the printing and delivery services provided by Print Stuff Inc. ("we," "us," "our") through the website mtcc.print-stuff.ca and related subdomains. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms. You must be at least 18 years of age to place an order.
2. Relationship with Venue
Print Stuff Inc. is an independent printing service provider. We are not owned, operated, or endorsed by Metro Toronto Convention Centre or any other venue at which we operate. Venues are not responsible for the quality, delivery, or fulfillment of orders placed through our service. Pickup arrangements at venues are coordinated by Print Stuff Inc. and are subject to each venue's facility hours and access policies.
3. Orders and Pricing
- All prices are in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and are subject to 13% HST (Harmonized Sales Tax).
- Pricing is determined by the product, dimensions, material, finishing, and turnaround tier selected at the time of order placement.
- The price displayed at checkout is the final price. We do not add hidden fees or surcharges.
- We accept common file formats (PDF, AI, EPS, PSD, PNG, JPG, TIFF, SVG, PPTX, INDD, and similar) at no additional charge.
- We reserve the right to refuse any order at our sole discretion.
4. Payment
- Payment is processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your credit card information.
- Full payment is required before production begins.
- For orders created on your behalf by our staff, a payment link will be sent to your email. Payment must be completed promptly to guarantee the quoted price and turnaround tier.
5. Content Restrictions
You agree not to submit content that:
- Infringes on any third party's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights
- Is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, threatening, or otherwise objectionable
- Contains material that promotes illegal activity
- Impersonates any person or entity
We reserve the right to refuse to print any content that, in our sole judgment, violates these restrictions. No refund will be issued for orders refused on these grounds.
6. File Requirements and Customer Responsibility
- You are responsible for ensuring your uploaded file is the correct, final version.
- You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of all content, including text, spelling, dimensions, and layout.
- Our team reviews files for print quality and compatibility. If there is a technical issue, we will contact you before production.
- Once your order moves to production, file changes cannot be accommodated.
- We are not responsible for errors in customer-supplied files, including but not limited to typos, incorrect dimensions, low resolution, or missing fonts.
7. Color Accuracy
Colors displayed on your screen may differ from the final printed product. Monitors use RGB color, while printing uses CMYK. We make every effort to produce accurate color reproduction, but we cannot guarantee an exact match between on-screen colors and printed output. If color precision is critical, please contact us to discuss a proof or color-matching process before placing your order.
8. Production and Delivery
- Production timelines are based on business days. We do not print on weekends or statutory holidays.
- Venue pickup: orders are available for pickup at the venue's designated business centre during the venue's business hours.
- Address delivery: a flat delivery fee applies. Delivery is within the Greater Toronto Area unless otherwise arranged.
- We make every effort to meet your selected delivery date. In the rare event of a delay, we will notify you promptly.
9. Venue Access and Pickup
- Pickup at a venue is subject to the venue's operating hours, building access policies, and any restrictions imposed by the facility. Print Stuff Inc. does not control venue access, hours, or security protocols.
- If a venue closes unexpectedly, changes its hours, or restricts access for any reason (including emergencies, maintenance, or event-specific security), we will make reasonable efforts to coordinate an alternative pickup arrangement or delivery.
- Pickup authorization: to collect an order, a valid order reference number and the name on the order must be provided. If someone other than the original customer will be picking up, the customer must notify us in advance with the authorized person's name by emailing orders@printstuff.ca or noting it in their order.
- Print Stuff Inc. is not liable for orders picked up by individuals who provide a valid order reference number and name.
10. Cancellations and Refunds
Our cancellation and refund terms are detailed in our Refund Policy. In summary:
- Before production: you may cancel for a full refund.
- During or after production: cancellations are not possible; refunds are case-by-case.
- Quality issues caused by us: we will reprint at no charge or issue a full refund.
- Uncollected venue-pickup orders: discarded 48 hours after the event ends; no refund (see Refund Policy §7).
See the Refund Policy for the complete terms, including event-cancellation provisions.
11. Intellectual Property
You represent and warrant that you own or have the right to print the content in your submitted file. By uploading a file, you grant Print Stuff Inc. a limited, non-exclusive licence to reproduce and print your content solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order. We do not claim ownership of your uploaded files.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Print Stuff Inc., its directors, officers, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your breach of these Terms; (b) your uploaded content infringing the rights of any third party; or (c) your use of our services.
13. Limitation of Liability
Our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific order in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to lost profits, missed presentations, event-related costs, or travel expenses.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada. Before pursuing legal action, both parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith communication.
15. Force Majeure
Print Stuff Inc. is not liable for delays or failure to perform our obligations caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, extreme weather, power outages, equipment failure, supplier delays, public health emergencies, government actions, or disruptions at venues or other delivery locations.
